Abstract

The health protocol has being an obligation in line with the implementation of Face-to-Face Learning in the school environment. Currently, the medical procedures are carried out by using a thermogun which able to detect human body temperature. The use of a thermogun is carried out by detecting the body temperature of students or visitors who entered the school environment. The used of the MLX 90614 Sensor and NodeMCU with the support of android technology, the temperature detection process can be carried out remotely based on the Internet of things. After several experiments, it was found that if the distance is more than 5cm, the temperature will not appear and the buzzer will sound two times. If the distance was less than 5cm the buzzer sounds one time and temperature data is obtained. The results will appear on the android screen, showed the temperature conditions and its distance. When the temperature exceeds 37.50C, the buzzer will sound two times and display a warning sign on Android that indicates the data at high temperatures (hot). During the experiment, there were network problems in the RTO state, so the data did not appear. RTO is a condition where data is not sent because there are obstacles in the internet network. In this research, it can be concluded that remote temperature monitoring with IOT can be done and is recommended because it will protect officers from the covid virus attack. For further research, it is recommended to add a face detector so that those with an indication of fever will have their faces photographed.

Abstract

This paper reveals the voltage divider circuit to better understand the fundamental working principles in detail. The approach was simulated using popular offline simulators (i.e., Pr, CW circuit, and virtual mode, EWB, Mu, P, Ye, TS, QUCS, LTS, SI, and PhET). Two scenarios were carried out: measuring the output voltage (Vout) with known R1, R2, and DC source (Battery) as a voltage input (Vin), then looking for R1 and R2 using four different calculation methods to obtain Vout as expected. Afterward, the value of R1 and R2 were inserted into the simulation circuit to guarantee if the current Vout value matched the initial Vout. Finally, the simulation results were compared with the calculation results. All simulators provide an attractive GUI, capable of simulating voltage measurements with 100% accuracy in terms of DC analyses, which is DC voltage (except the CW software, which is only 98%), and can be entered in any resistor value (except Ye and PhET software). Surprisingly, the results of this study can provide insight for beginners to understand essential topics in electrical engineering studies, e.g., the circuit topology, fundamental theory, and working principle of a voltage divider circuit. Besides, the student will understand an offline electronic-based simulator suitable for measuring voltage parameters. Furthermore, they are expected to apply this circuit to various electronic circuit cases.

Abstract

Changing the Indonesian government's policy on the curriculum occured so quickly. The SMK curriculum is revised every year. Currently, Vocational Schools in Aceh province are already using the 2013 revised 2018 curriculum. However, in its implementation, minority of teachers received the training on socializing the implementation of the 2013 revised 2018 curriculum. Thus, it becomes a problem for the aspect of teacher competence in understanding and implementing the 2013 revised 2018 curriculum. However, the purpose of this study, to find out the implementation of the 2013 revised 2018 SMK curriculum in the learning process in Aceh province. This research uses descriptive quantitative research methods. The research subjects involved 30 teachers on vocational subjects in the province of Aceh. The chosen instrument is a questionnaire. The results showed that 16.67% or as many as 5 respondents responded that the implementation of the 2013 revised 2018 curriculum was partially implemented. Furthermore, a total of 23.33% or 7 respondents stated that the implementation of the curriculum was categorized as mostly implemented, and last, 60% or 18 respondents stated that the implementation curriculum is categorized of fully implemented. It can be concluded that the implementation of the 2013 revised 2018 curriculum in the implementation of learning in Aceh province is in the fully implemented category. This is indicated by the obtained mean value of 50.38 which located in the class interval score (>48.75) with the category fully implemented.

Abstract

Madrasah Ulumul Qur'an (MUQ) Pidie Regency is one of the educational institutions that has a tahfidz program. Recently, the recording of the memorization of the Qur'an for each student is carried out on one sheet of paper. The existence of information technology requires an educational institution to implement IT applications properly. This study aims to build a fine monitoring and evaluation system for tahfidz qur'an in terms of presenting data to the MUQ of Pidie Regency and parents. Data information on the proposed web and mobile application system is in the form of information data in kinds of tables, text, graphs and reports of rote achievement. The research method used research and development approach with an application development model (the waterfall). The applications used the concept of web services that connected between web and mobile applications. The results showed that the development of monitoring and evaluation system in the form of web and mobile applications for data management on the development of tahfidz by presenting data in the form of text, graphs and tables. This effectively provides monitoring and evaluation functions which easier, faster and more efficient. The results of the application effectiveness test showed that the average value of the percentage of 19 questions was 96%. Based on the results of the questionnaire, the average value is above 70%. Generally, this application is very helpful for parents in monitoring the development of their child's memorization.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of feasibility of the website of the subject electropneumatic controlsystem. Based on early observation data, the Department of Industrial Automation Engineering does not yethave a learning website to support the electropneumatic system learning process. Thus, this study used a research and development (R and D) model with the Waterfall method. However, the subjects involved inthis study were class XI Industrial Automation Engineering Department. The data collection techniqueschosen were interviews and questionnaires with the media evaluation sheet instrument, material evaluationsheet, and user assessment sheet which presented on a Likert scale. The results showed that the websitesupported the learning of electropneumatic system subject had been tested in 8 meetings in the class XI ofIndustrial Automation Engineering. The results of this development research showed that the mediafeasibility test got an average of 75% in the "appropriate" category, the results of the material evaluation testreached an average of 49.7% in the "adequate" category and the assessments from teacher and studenttook an average of 55% with "decent" category. It can be concluded that the website developed iscategorized as "appropriate" to be applied as a learning support in the Department of Industrial AutomationEngineering, especially in the subject of electropneumatic systems. Based on the results, it can besuggested website development on other subject matter to support the success of the learning process.

Abstract

The utilization of heat energy as a generator of electrical energy was conducted by using thermoelectric elements. The conversion system with Thermoelectric Generator (TEG) elements currently used in many time during the combustion process. Likewise, the fuel is sourced from charcoal, wood, coal, palm oil shells, or garbage. Based on the properties and advantages of those fuel components, this research is carried out to study and develop a system according to the capabilities of the TEG components to become a useful things. TEG components can be designed into a super mini generating system by converting fire heat into electricity. The method used in this research is a bonfire heat energy conversion system into electrical energy. The heat from the fire will be used to recharge batteries such as HT batteries, flashlights, GPS, etc. The input of the system is heat, which consisted the heat of a campfire or cooking fire. The input component itself is a converter, namely peltier. Peltier function is to convert heat energy directly into electricity. The result of this research is the output about 3.7 V. This design uses IC LM317 as a regulator to process the output voltage of the conversion system. The regulator is important to succed the battery does not overcharge and damage.

Abstract

The modern lifestyle of Indonesian people has influenced the level of increasing of the electricity consumption. The wasteful use of household electricity even uncontrolled due to the lack of monitoring of the amount of power used. It does not enough to monitor power depends on the kWh meter because the electricity users cannot monitor every room which excessive in terms of electricity consumption. In this study, a monitoring tool was designed to monitor power consumption in each room. The purpose of this study is to determine the power consumption in each room. Thus, it is easier to save electrical energy. Implementation of the internet of things (IoT) used the Blynk platform. The results showed that the tools (design) have been successful in monitoring the power consumption of each IoT-based room. At load the laptop charger produces 99.61% efficiency, at load two lamps produces efficiency 98.94%, at fan load produces efficiency 99.08% and at load two lamps and laptop charger produces efficiency 99.07%. It can be concluded that the system built has very good efficiency and can make it easier to monitor power consumption in household electronic equipment.

Abstract

Based on the previous observations at SMKN 5 Telkom Banda Aceh on Basic Telecommunication subject, it presented that most students still lack of enthusiasm and interest in learning. They prefer did another in the class other than study. This problems faced the students in the classroom atmosphere noisy and disrupted learning activities. This has an impact on the students’value or score which got bad and down. The purpose of this study was to determine the learning outcomes of students and their responses to the application of the Snowball Throwig learning model in basic telecommunication learning at SMKN 5 Telkom Banda Aceh. This study uses a quasi-experimental design with one group pretest and posttest. By using test sheets and questionnaires, this research was carried out using quantitative data analysis techniques. The results showed that the learning outcomes of students increased significantly with the average pretest score of 28.50 increasing to the posttest average value of 71.00. So it can be concluded that there is an increase in student learning outcomes in Basic Telecommunication learning at SMKN 5 Telkom Banda Aceh with the application of the Snowball Throwing learning model. In addition to learning outcomes, student response data is good. This is evidenced by looking at the student's response to the positive statement of the questionnaire on average above 75%. It can be concluded that the application of the snowball throwing learning model is able to improve student learning outcomes and attract students' interest in learning.

Abstract

Government obliged the schools should held the online learning in terms of Covid 19 spreadness. However, the online learning process indicated less effective result. To overcome this problem, a  blended learning model is applied. The blended learning model combines online learning with face-to-face (offline) learning. The purpose of this study was to determine  the response and influence of the blended learning model with google classroom. The method used in this study is an applied research method by using one group pretest posttest design. The study involved students of class X TEI SMKN 1 Simpang Kanan, SIngkil, Aceh. The instrument used wa test questions and questionnaires. Data analyze by looking at the difference in the average score of students at the pretest and posttest result. The data showed that the blended learning model with google classroom had a positive effect on student learning outcomes. It proved from the results of hypothesis testing by using the paired sample test at = 0.05, the sig value is obtained. (2 tailed) of 0.046.It could concluded that Ha is accepted. The data also presented that there were differences in the learning outcomes of class X TEI before and after the implementation. This can be seen from the average score of students at the time of the pretest was 57.11 and the average value of the students at the time of the posttest was 65.88. Meanwhile, the students' response to the blended learning model with the help of Google Classroom is 80.8%. It can be concluded that the Belnded Learning model assisted by Google Classroom is quite effective to be applied to distance learning (online).

Abstract

Currently, the technology needed in the era of digitalization is increasing rapidly. Especially, the need of an internet network. During this pandemic, which requires people to carry out their activities from home or known as Work From Home (WFH). In order to support the success of WFH activities, an adequate internet connection is required. Based on these problems, this study was conducted to analyze the performance of the Fiber to the Home (FTTH) telecommunications network in the Bhumi Nirwana Cluster, Batu Ampar, North Balikpapan. The analysis technique chosen designed a simulation using OptiSystem software and mathematical calculations using the Power Link Budget method. After a sessions of experiments and mathematical calculations, it can be concluded that the Bit Error Rate (BER) value obtained is categorized as "Fair" based on the BER value indicator which does not exceed 10e-9 which is the standard value. In mathematical calculations used the Power Link Budget method, on the uplink and downlink sides, the average value of the total attenuation is obtained with "good" results, which is less than 28 dB and has met the ITU-T G.984 standard, the value of the average the average maximum power sensitivity is greater than -28 dBm and the value of the average power margin is more than 0 dB which indicates the results of these two values have accepted the standard.
